This class provides an introduction to Connexion, OCLC’s cataloging product. This class focuses on searching the WorldCat database through the Connexion client and editing bibliographic records in Connexion.

This class is designed for catalogers of any experience level. This is a basic-level interactive class, combining lecture and hands-on training.
Learning Objectives
After attending this class, participants will be able to enter authorization information and customize settings in Connexion. Participants will be able to perform command line and guided
searches and be familiar with types of results set displays. Participants will also be able to edit, replace, and save bibliographic records in OCLC Connexion.
Prerequisites
Participants should be able to read and interpret a MARC record.
Two screens are recommended but not required for viewing and practicing simultaneously.
