Create and Manage a Networking Group in L2
What are Networking Groups?
Networking groups in L2 create an opportunity for members to connect and host/attend events around specific interests. A few examples of Networking Groups includes: “Collection Development Librarians Networking Group”, “Assistant Managers and Supervisors Networking Group”, and “Circulation Managers”. These groups consist of staff from libraries that fit the group’s intent.
Some examples of library-adjacent groups includes: “Library Administrators Council of Northern Illinois” (LACONI), and “Illinois Library Association” (ILA).
Networking groups are different from and NOT connected to emailing listservs.
