Join SLA Illinois on Monday, August 15 at noon for a conversation with artist Anika Orrocks!

Join us on Monday, August 15th at noon to hear artist Anika Orrock discuss her research process while illustrating and writing The Incredible Women of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. There is so much more to these women and their baseball experiences than we saw in the movie A League of Their Own. Anika uses her beautiful illustrations and interviews with former All-Americans and their family members to tell their story. Ms. Orrock will be interviewed by past SLA IL president Lorene Kennard.
