FY2023 Project Next Generation Grants - Project Directors and Mentors Orientation

The person in charge of the Project Next Generation grant should fully understand their responsibilities and the agency’s obligations to this grant program.  This meeting provides an overview of allowable costs, reimbursement, reporting requirements, and includes time for sharing project ideas between libraries.

Project​ Next Generation (PNG), an educational technology initiative of Illinois Secretary of State and State Librarian, Jesse White, was established to help educate at-risk students and bridge the digital divide. By providing technology training for students, with limited access to computers, PNG empowers students to succeed academically and eventually as independent, contributing members of society.
