How did your services change during the pandemic? What did your patrons need that was different or unexpected? What new patrons did you see seeking out library services? How did you assess your patron’s challenges? How will you continue to evolve your services for post-pandemic programming? The University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) Daley Library conducted patron surveys to understand patrons’ needs and identify areas for improvement during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The presenters will share and discuss findings that led to impactful decisions in the library, by comparing feedback from patrons who did not traditionally experience the library due to COVID with all others who had expectations based on the pre-pandemic landscape. The presenters will engage with participants regarding the value of ongoing assessment of services and the importance of the physical library space. This presentation will benefit library board members, managers, and librarians using evidence-based data from stakeholders.
All ILA Noon Network webinars are free and recordings will be made available shortly after the webinars. Registration for all live webinars is limited to Illinois libraries. Others may view the recordings when they are available.
