As the Chatham Area Public Library prepares to host a regular sensory friendly storytime in collaboration with the organization Autism Support of Central Illinois, representative Christina Murphy from both ASCI and The KASE Project will be coming to provide training on hosting a sensory storytime.
The Chatham Area Public Library will offer a light lunch. This event is limited to 20 librarians. Deadline to register is July 31st.
This training will be about an hour and will review best practices, strategies to implement and resources for sensory storytime. Other Youth Services Librarians are welcome to join the Chatham Area Public Library staff for this training.
