There are two solar eclipses coming up in October 2023 and April 2024, and folks across Illinois are getting excited! In this third session in a solar eclipse educational series presented by Chicago's Adler Planetarium, we'll focus our attention on the Sun itself and its different parts, we'll highlight a bit of history regarding how we learned what the Sun is made of plus early attempts to photograph the Sun, and we'll finish with a tutorial of how you can take your own images of the Sun and solar eclipses using a cell phone camera.
