This group is for librarians and library staff who run programming for seniors/older adults in public libraries. Programming for older adults can be challenging as they are a varied and often overlooked group. During these meetings, we will share ideas focusing on all facets of programming, including outside presenters, governmental organizations, resources for seniors, and how to create opportunities for socialization, and the physical, emotional and mental well-being for our senior populations.
This group meets quarterly on Zoom for one hour, the first Friday of the month:
Friday, December 1, 10:00 a.m. (inaugural meeting)
Friday, March 1, 10:00 a.m.
