Are you a library trustee or director interested in helping your board reach new heights of excellence in public service? The iLEAD Trustee Learning Portal is here to help!
Trustees are government officials who serve as the eyes, ears, and even the heart of the community in matters about the library. Yet, they often need more preparation for the job. The iLEAD Trustee Learning Portal was created to help Illinois public library board members learn the ins and outs of serving in the important government position of public library trustee—for free. The portal provides an innovative online learning space where Illinois library trustees can learn the newest and most reliable information about the legal responsibilities and requirements they are expected to fulfill. And they can do it at their own pace, on their own schedule!
Attend this Zoom workshop to learn more and find out how to begin your iLEAD Trustee journey right away!
Topics covered in this session include:
- What is iLEAD?
- Why is iLEAD Important?
