Join SLA Illinois for an upcoming webinar, “Lessons Learned in Implementing a Knowledge Cafe Program at the Green Climate Fund.” This event will take place on Thursday, September 26, 10-11 a.m. Central.
Over a 5-month period, The Green Climate Fund (GCF) partnered with Enterprise Knowledge (EK) to create a Knowledge Cafe program that adjusted to GCF's needs, cultural preferences, and institutional mandates. This program was designed to cross-pollinate ideas across teams and enable new communication paths to amplify learning and collaboration and enhance GCF’s knowledge management capabilities.
In this presentation, Madeleine Adamec and Guillermo Galdamez will walk you through how we approached the Knowledge Cafe Program, how it was adapted to fit GCF’s culture, and share the lessons learned coming from implementing and piloting the effort.
Guillermo Galdamez is a Principal Consultant at Enterprise Knowledge, specializing in the Knowledge Management Strategy, Taxonomy Design, and Content Strategy initiatives at organizations as diverse as the US federal government, Fortune 500 companies, NGOs, and International Organizations across the Americas, Europe and Asia. Madeleine Adamec is a Strategy & Data Analyst at Enterprise Knowledge, currently engaging in Knowledge Management Strategy and Data Management initiatives primarily in the US federal government and international organizations.
