Each year, over 420,000 people in the U.S. suffer sudden cardiac arrest, and 9 out of 10 do not survive. CPR training can double or even triple the chances of survival.
During this webinar, you will learn about Illinois Heart Rescue (ILHR) and its services, including hands-on CPR/AED training, opioid overdose training using Naloxone (Narcan), and Cardiac Emergency Response Plans (CERPs). You'll also discover how to bring these trainings to your library.
Illinois Heart Rescue (ILHR) is a state-funded program operating under the University of Illinois system that is tasked with increasing neurologically intact survival of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest across Illinois. All ILHR resources are free to community-based organizations, schools, PSAPs, EMS agencies, and hospitals in the state.

All ILA Noon Network webinars are free. ILA personal members can access recordings of webinars in the Noon Network Archive 1-3 days after the live event. Registration for all live webinars is limited to Illinois libraries.
