SAVE THE DATE - Libraries Count: RAILS Data Conference

Join us for the first ever Libraries Count: RAILS Data Conference on Monday, October 13, 2025 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. We’re planning a full day of hands-on data workshops that cover analysis, visualization, storytelling, and more—all tailored specifically for libraries. There will also be time to network and connect! Library workers of all positions, types, and levels are invited to register.

This event is a pre-conference training opportunity offered in conjunction with the 2025 ILA Annual Conference. More details are available via the ILA event page. Capacity is limited to 100 attendees. 

Registration rates are as follows: 

• Early Bird (7/21 - 9/15): $100
• Standard Rate (9/15 - 10/1): $110

Attendees will be able to choose one session during each of three workshop blocks. Sessions include:

  • From Design to Dissemination: Five Key Things to Consider for Your Next Survey
• Workshop II:
  • Optimizing Library Decisions: A Practical Workshop on Excel Solver

  • “I Wanna Be Where the People Are” : Using GIS Data to Map Library Services
• Workshop III:
  • From Data to Actions: Dashboards, Surveys, and Smart Insights
  • Algorithms & Analytics: Harnessing Social Media to Create Library Programs
  • Using Data to Demonstrate Academic Library Value
