Please join us for the Civic Empowerment networking group kick-off meeting. This networking group will be a chance to connect with other librarians from various types of libraries and discuss the topic of civic empowerment and work on the networking group charge. The charge of this group will be to develop materials and collateral, along with a series of speakers and exhibits. The series honors Illinois’s past while building civic strength for the future — giving residents the tools, knowledge, and confidence to be informed participants in democracy. Attendees can share best practices and ideas for civic empowerment.
