*This program is co-hosted with the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Team in Youth Services (EDIT-YS), a RAILS networking group.
This session explores how to effectively support LGBTQ students, families, educators, and librarians in our current political climate. We will examine strategies for fostering affirming environments in schools and libraries, as well as approaches for engaging and advocating within the broader community. Participants will leave with practical tools and actionable strategies to advance LGBTQ-affirming practices.
