Please join us as we learn about Human Library® events from Anjelica Rufus, Prospect Heights Public Library Reference Librarian. We will be discussing the process for libraries to host their own Human Library®.
The Human Library ® is a safe space for dialogue and personal conversation with people that library patrons may not come across in their daily lives. These conversations challenge stigma and stereotypes, celebrate differences and encourage understanding.
RAILS Online Roundtables are hour-long forums hosted on a specific topic. These forums are held via Zoom and any library staff from any Illinois library is invited to attend.
RAILS Accessibility Statement We strive to make events accessible to all. If you have a specific accessibility request or need accommodations, please contact us at access@railslibraries.org at least two weeks before the event.
