About This Event
The RAILS Board of Directors will meet in person at Founders Memorial Library on the Northern Illinois University campus on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Prior to the meeting, there will be a tour of the library at 10:30 am and a networking lunch at the library at noon. Come meet Monica Harris, RAILS Executive Director. This is also a great opportunity to network with other RAILS staff and colleagues from the DeKalb area.
All library staff from all types of libraries are invited. Please register and place your lunch order at the link below.
You are also welcome to stay for the RAILS Board meeting at 1:00 pm.
Schedule:
10:30 am: Room 393-Tour of the Founders Memorial Library at NIU
12:00 pm - 12:45 pm: Room 393-Networking lunch [no lunch orders taken after 4/13/26]
Parking: Use the lot off Carroll Street, behind the library (NIU Zone V). Use the AMP Park app to pay for parking.
Library Entrance: The library entrance is on the North side of the building.
