The School District Library Grant from the Illinois State Library is a non-competitive, per-capita grant available for all school libraries that are members of an Illinois library system. It's one of the easiest grants to qualify for, but there are some ins and outs. Join Leah Gregory, Director of Membership and Outreach at Illinois Heartland Library System, and Jessica Silva, Member Engagement Specialist at Reaching Across Illinois Library System, as they lay out the basics of this grant opportunity! We'll cover the basic requirements, the information you'll need to gather in advance, where to find the application materials, the timeline, and how to navigate after you've been awarded the grant.
